Soooo Sleepy…
Yaaaaaawn. Sometimes it’s hard to get up, man. You know what I mean? I have never been a “morning person,” but here I am getting up at 6ish every morning and struggling to stay awake throughout the day. The benefit of coming in to work early is that I get to leave early and enjoy a long afternoon and evening. It’s a trade off to say the least.
I read this webpage with tips on how to sleep well: http://www.stanford.edu/~dement/howto.html and it has helped in general. The challenge is getting just the right amount of sleep to make sure I am amidst the right part of the sleep cycle to get up easily. I think it is somewhere around 7 hours, but I don’t really know if that helps much.
The other challenge is Sunday nights. On the weekend I sleep in like most people and stay up late. As a result, it’s harder to go to sleep Sunday night at the time usually do during the week. But then I usually sleep really well Monday night and on because I am tired from sleeping bad the night before. Trade offs again.
Some days just feel too long and others don’t feel long enough. I could for a nap right now. How about you?
